The Keros Abadía Modula 100x100 matt rustic effect porcelain tile is a modular composition inspired by traditional floors made with different tile sizes, designed to create surfaces with a warm, handcrafted and clearly Mediterranean aesthetic.
Unlike a conventional single-size floor tile, Abadía Modula combines several dimensions in each box to create a complete 100x100 cm module, resulting in a much more dynamic surface that closely resembles traditional modular flooring.
The Modula 100x100 format does not refer to a single 100x100 cm tile. It is a composition made up of several pieces which, when laid together, form one complete square metre module.
Each box contains 2 pieces of 50x50 cm, 2 pieces of 25x50 cm and 4 pieces of 25x25 cm. The combination of these formats creates the characteristic modular design of the collection and recreates the appearance of traditional floors made with different tile sizes.
Each box of Abadía Modula contains a total of eight pieces and covers 1 m² of surface.
This composition makes planning the installation easier, as all the different formats required to create the module are supplied together in the same box.
Abadía is a Keros collection inspired by traditional ceramic floors with a rustic and Mediterranean aesthetic.
The Modula version takes this concept one step further by combining several tile sizes, creating a surface with greater visual richness and a more handcrafted appearance than flooring laid with a single format.
The modular composition is available in Abadía Avena and Abadía Centeno.
Abadía Avena offers a lighter and brighter aesthetic, while Abadía Centeno creates a stronger and more pronounced look. Both tones retain the warm and rustic character that defines the collection.
Abadía Modula is available both in a standard finish and in an Antislip version, making it possible to maintain the same modular design across different areas of a project.
This is particularly useful when the same aesthetic is required indoors and then continued towards terraces, porches or other areas where a surface with enhanced slip resistance is needed.
The main visual difference between Abadía Modula and conventional flooring is the combination of several tile sizes within the same surface.
The 50x50, 25x50 and 25x25 cm pieces create an irregular yet orderly composition that recalls the traditional floors used in country houses, Mediterranean homes and rural-inspired architecture.
The modular layout creates a less repetitive appearance than conventional installation with a single tile size.
The result is a floor with greater visual movement, capable of conveying a handcrafted and natural feel that is particularly suitable for projects where personality is important.
In living rooms, the Keros Abadía Modula porcelain tile creates a surface with strong decorative presence.
Its composition works particularly well with wood, white walls, earth tones, natural textiles and Mediterranean-inspired furniture.
Kitchens are one of the spaces where traditional modular flooring works especially well.
Abadía Modula can be combined with white, cream, green, natural wood or dark furniture, making it possible to create both rustic kitchens and contemporary projects inspired by traditional architecture.
The combination of different formats makes Abadía Modula a particularly decorative option for entrance areas and hallways.
The flooring can become one of the main visual features of the space from the very first impression and then continue through the rest of the home.
The modular aesthetic fits especially naturally into country houses, rural homes and renovation projects where an appearance connected to traditional flooring is desired.
The combination of several sizes recreates the feeling of a handcrafted floor while using a contemporary porcelain solution.
Mediterranean interiors find a particularly coherent surface in Abadía Modula thanks to its warm character and traditional inspiration.
White walls, wood, natural fibres, stone and earth tones are among the materials that work best with this type of flooring.
Wood is one of the materials that best complements the Abadía Modula rustic effect.
This combination reinforces the warmth of the project and helps create welcoming spaces, whether using natural wood or wood effect porcelain tiles.
Natural stone and stone effect porcelain tiles also work particularly well with a rustic modular composition.
Both materials share an aesthetic connected to traditional architecture and make it possible to create spaces with a natural and coherent visual language.
White walls help balance the visual richness of the flooring and introduce greater brightness into the overall design.
This combination is especially characteristic of Mediterranean projects, where the contrast between light surfaces and warm flooring plays an important role.
The availability of standard and Antislip versions makes it possible to create projects where the modular design continues visually from indoor areas towards certain outdoor spaces.
This makes it possible to maintain a consistent aesthetic between living rooms, kitchens, porches and terraces while using the appropriate finish for each area.
Keros indicates level 5 stain resistance and GA-GLA-GHA chemical resistance for Modula Abadía Avena.
These characteristics complement a composition designed to combine a traditional aesthetic with the practical performance of contemporary porcelain flooring.
The Keros Abadía Modula rustic effect porcelain tile recreates the appearance of traditional floors made with tiles of different sizes while using a contemporary ceramic solution.
The combination of 50x50, 25x50 and 25x25 cm formats creates a varied and characterful surface, particularly suitable for projects that aim to move away from uniform flooring.
The Keros Abadía Modula 100x100 matt rustic effect porcelain tile is particularly suitable for customers looking for modular flooring with a traditional, warm and Mediterranean character.
Each box forms a complete 100x100 cm and 1 m² module using 2 pieces of 50x50, 2 pieces of 25x50 and 4 pieces of 25x25 cm, creating a highly decorative composition for living rooms, kitchens, entrance areas, country houses, porches and rustic-inspired projects.
