In recent years, ceramic leveling systems have become a tool for the perfect placement of ceramic tiles. With the arrival of the large format on the market, the level of demand for placement has risen, since no matter how much our experience supports us, there are factors that are beyond our control and it is essential to place leveling systems for optimal Outcome.

What is a leveling system?

Leveling systems are a set of tools that have been designed to avoid unwanted "eyebrows" when laying large-format tiles. Avoiding that unevenness between pieces that often appears due to differences in the setting of the glue cement, will be the main function of the Levtile leveling system.

Functions of leveling systems

The main function of the leveling system, as we have said before, is to level a ceramic tile or floor, avoid unevenness or eyebrows that occur in the joints, but in addition, leveling systems provide us with other advantages.

The function that has traditionally been given to the spreaders, the joint between pieces that will later allow to create a system like waterproof when applying its borada sealant.

By creating the joint, you will avoid the problems derived from the expansions of the ceramic when they are placed at the end, cracks, breaks, etc ..., in addition to the small dimensional differences between pieces.

It will control the setting differences due to the differences in the application of glue cement between pieces.

And finally, it will help to minimize the problems caused by the curvature of the ceramic pieces. With the leveling system we can hide the tilting of the piece and correct the natural position a little. Especially in wood-imitation porcelain pieces, this is one of the main factors that we find ourselves with and thanks to the leveling systems we can achieve a perfect finish to everything and the vice of curve that the pieces of stretched formats have.
